Kawaii Not is an interesting comic; while not always my personal idea of cute (no AK-47s to be seen yet!), I have to admire the simple but well-made graphics and of course, color scheme. And every so often I really hit a winner, like this one! So I recommend a looksie.

Good nights. Got to see Paul and Jason again, there was much making of tofu snackums, and I got home to see that David Mack found/wrote me on myspace! Excuse me while I wet myself from glee.

I have much, much work to do. I'm preparing a lot of materials for the Jesse James Art and Film Festival which is Saturday, the 14th, in Russellville. A lot of the simple (but time-consuming, aiyah!) things are to sell - notebooks and the like - but I'll also be doing caricatures. Plus I need to finish making the Pollock board for Harris' area. Crossing my fingers that everything works out well, and glad that my painting course is finished...I'm going to need all of my time to prepare for this and the residency in a few weeks.

Also, Boing Boing has a neat link to a weapon! made out of newspaper! Can my day get any better? Only if there's a toaster wrapped in a towel involved!
